Akumu is an RPG Maker puzzle game by Mightydarkchocolate. The game was first released in April 2015, for Windows.
Synopsis[]
Kai Yamazuka went to the video rental store to borrow some movies, but he was unable to find anything new on the shelves. Frustrated, he was about to leave the store when a disc suddenly falls from the shelf. Kai picked up the disc with words Akumu written on it. Considering himself to be lucky, Kai took the disc home.
Upon watching the movie, Kai starts to realize something wrong with the disc. However, it was too late for him to do anything. The darkness is approaching and there will be no escape for him. Soon, Kai is about to experience something that he never wished to happen. Will he be able to wake up from the nightmares? Or will he end up like the rest?

The player moves a character through two-dimensional fields, interacting with and examining various objects.
