Barugvael`s Mansion: Rozy Nightmare is a Russian horror adventure game created by SquareDan. Inspired by the classics of The Witch's House from where one of the deaths dangled.
This game has no full-fledged plot, like any nightmare, introductions and role-playing elements, Rozy is a silent protagonist who attempts to search a way out of the mansion, which is an endless nightmare as a result.
It was released as freeware in Russian version of RPG Maker website; the original version was removed or lost as a dead link, as of 2022.
Endings[]
Good End[]
It has a probability of extremely low chance of getting a good ending if you need to finish the whole game without a single death. This is quite difficult to do, and most likely, more than one attempt will go away if desired.
Bad End[]
Arguably considered as a "canon" ending if even need a single or more deaths, you will see the monologues of Rozy's mother involving many of her deaths repeatedly; Rozy died by hanging (suicide) at the basement, leaving her no hope but full of her nightmares.
Version[]
English version is available on September 30, 2019. Which is translated by Frederick C. Borromeo (originally credited as "Anonymous").
No one would reach the good ending of the original version due to undeniable criticism due to several deaths after avoiding, even BrainStorming Stream played it. Dan issued an apology to the players/streamers for attempt to reach the good ending, although there are no further updates in this version. Frederick C. Borromeo who came to aid by updating and translating the game into English. It was updated on April 26, 2020.
