Claroscuro is a fantasy horror role-playing game created by Ximsol182 using RPG Maker VX Ace.
Synopsis[]
After his father's passing, Nikanor can only find consolation in "Claroscuro", a storybook he gave him. One night he finds out he's been trapped inside a dream and the fairytales of his beloved book have come to life. As he ventures in this nonsensical place, things take a spooky turn... Can he find a way to wake up?
Game Features[]
The player moves a character through two-dimensional fields, interacting with and examining various objects. The game can be saved by accessing the menu.
The gameplay consists of investigating through objects in order to advance and find a way out of the dream. The two playable characters have unique abilities which will allow them to advance. Nikanor can understand texts and read books while Amarant can break wooden doors and crates with her axe.

Nikanor Petrovich Lyarasov[]
A farmboy who loves books, especially his favorite story “Claroscuro”. He was very close to his father, who taught him how to read.
Amarant[]
The protagonist of the fairytale “Claroscuro”. Positive, hot-blooded and a little foolish, she guides Nika through the dream.
