DELETE is a horror RPG maker game created by Jestereir.

Synopsis[]

This game is a horror-esque puzzle and exploration game that features a young boy named Zai. Waking up in an unfamiliar room and no memories to boot, he wanders around the rather abandoned facility in hopes to regain his memories. Before he can even leave the room, he crashes into a mysterious girl that insists on him not leaving, and consequently decides to follow him when he refuses to listen to her. Play as Zai and help him regain his memories, for better or worse.

Characters[]

  • Zai: A robot with the appearance of a teenager, called "Subject 01". He's curious, cheerful and is very devoted to his creator, whom he refers as his mother.
  • Fae: A robot with the apperance of a young woman, called "Subject 04". She's cold, detached and is single-focused on protecting Zai. Nothing is much known about her, as she was activated shortly after the incident that caused Zai to lose his memories.

Endings[]

Bad Ending: Protector[]

I

If Zai reached the Main Frame but didn't get the access, the lost memories turn out to be corrupted. Fae decides to erase the corrupted memories to protect Zai, much to the boy's protests. She deletes Zai's memories once again, lamenting that she failed.

After the credits, Zai is shown in the same room as the beginning, amnesiac. Fae vows to protect Zai, no matter how many times she erases his memories.

Fake Ending: Protected[]

Iii

If Zai reached the Main Frame, didn't get the access but found the USB Drive, the lost memories turn out to be corrupted. Fae decides to transfer the corrupted data to herself to protect Zai. Before dying, she deletes Zai's memories once again.

After the credits, Zai is shown in the same room as the beginning, amnesiac. He wanders around and finds the deactivated Fae. He cries, despite not remembering who she is.

Good Ending: All Thrown Away[]

Ii

If Zai reached the Main Frame, got the access and said "No" about regaining his memories, he tells Fae he has the feeling he shouldn't regain his lost memories and he'd rather find another way. Fae cancels the data transfer and the two decide to fix the other computers and find the truth about the outside world.

After the credits, Zai has found nothing and he decides he should go to the Main Frame to regain his memories after all. Fae laments that she's failed once again.

True Ending: Deleted[]

Iv

If Zai reached the Main Frame, got the access and said "Yes" about regaining his memories, Fae downloads the lost memories to him. He remembers that the scientists in the facility wanted to dispose of him because he was "too humanlike" for a robot. Zai's mother refused and made plans to adopt him in secret, but she was killed by her fellow scientists before she could. In revenge, Zai killed all the scientists, only to regret it afterwards. Fae found him and deleted all his memories.

In the present, Zai is horrified about what he'd done and dejected upon finding his mother was dead. He tells Fae he regrets regaining his memories and he'd rather forget again. She complies and Zai's memories are deleted again.

After the credits, Zai is shown in the same room as the beginning, amnesiac and searching for his mother, just like he did at the beginning of the game.

Trivia[]

  • If you get all endings, you obtain a code to unlock a file that contains concept art and information about the robots.
    • It's confirmed the purple haired girl and the white haired boy are subjects 03 and 02 respectively.
    • Zai's mother knew she was going to be killed and programmed Fae to take care and protect Zai in her absence.
