The God of Crawling Eyes is a 2013 freeware horror game for PC made by Kasey Ozymy. It was developed in RPG Maker VX.
Synopsis[]
Max Cieco, a colorblind teenager participating in an experiment to gain the ability to see color, goes to his school to attend his usual lessons, along with his best friend Chase, a fan of horror movies, and Lily, a cute girl he has a crush on. When sent by his teacher, Miss Blackmore, to go get something for her, he quickly finds that all is not well when ominous black smoke starts appearing, he begins seeing the color red, and the lights go out- after which most of the school is found dead and the existance of a cult who worships a dark eldritch entity, the God of Crawling Eyes, who begins manifesting inside the school. Now Max must save Chase and Lily from the creature and escape the school.

- Max Cieco: A colorblind teenager who resents his condition. While he can only see black and white, his medication has started to let him see the color red.
- Chase: Max's best friend since childhood, a nerdy boy with an obsession for horror stories and the occult. Everyone else finds him creepy and unsettling and Max is the only one who tolerates him.
- Lily: Max's love interest, a beautiful model student with many friends. As Max starts to know her better, he finds out she's an overachiever who wants to be the best at everything.

Lily's Bad Ending: Lily on Top[]
If Max was more obvious in his attraction to Lily and chooses to save her instead of Chase, Lily and Max are taken away by the cult. She is sacrificed to the God of Crawling Eyes while Max survives. The next day, turns out that everyone except Max is wiped of their memories of Lily, courtesy of the cult. Chase convinces Max that the events from the day prior wrere just a dream, but now there's a second corpse in the well, wearing red ...
Lily's Good Ending: The Reaching Trees[]
If Max was less obvious in his attraction to Lily and chooses to save her instead of Chase, Lily and Max are taken away by the cult. Max is about to be sacrificed to the God of Crawling Eyes, but Lily saves him thanks to her knowing judo. Max and Lily escape the room but not before tying up Miss Blackmore, who's sacrificed instead. Lily and Max go to the police to report about the cult and Travis's death, but it turns out the God of Crawling Eyes is still out there...
Chase's Bad Ending: Principal Blackmore[]
If Max was rude to Chase and chooses to save him instead of Lily, Chase reveals himself to be a member of the cult and takes Max to be sacrificed to the God of Crawling Eyes. Max feels betrayed, while Chase retorts that Max never considered him a true friend. The next day, Max's mother asks at school for her son's wherabouts, where she finds that following Lieberman's death, Miss Blackmore is the new principal.
Chase's Good Ending: As Seen on TV[]
If Max was nice to Chase and chooses to save him instead of Lily, Chase decides that his friendship is more important than joining the cult and saves him from being the sacrifice. Max and Chase escape the cultists but not before tying up Miss Blackmore, who's sacrificed instead. Both spend the night watching TV shows at Max's house and act as nothing happened, but it turns out the God of Crawling Eyes is still out there...
Trivia[]
- Max's surname, Cieco, means "blind" in Italian.
- The cartoon Chase and Max are watching in Chase's Good Ending is Dragon Ball Z.
- The prize for clearing the good endings is unlocking the drama club and the auditorium. The Auditorium switches the music for an unfitting cheery tune and the drama club allows you to change Max's clothing into a formal suit, a knight's armor or a dog with Max's head.
- The prize for clearing the bad endings unlock the Gas Mask (Chase) and the Galoshes (Lily) making you immune to the chlorine gas and the black slime, respectively, so that getting the other endings becomes more streamlined.
